Corrections Policy
We write about a government scheme that keeps changing — new rules, new deadlines, new circulars almost every month. So yes, sometimes we get things wrong. When that happens, we want to fix it fast and fix it honestly.
If you spot a mistake
Please tell us. Email contact@majhiladkibahinyojana.org with the article title or link and what you think is wrong. If you have a source (a government notice, a news report, anything), please share it too — it helps us verify quickly.
We read every message and usually update the article within 2-3 days. Urgent things like wrong deadlines or wrong eligibility rules get fixed the same day.
How we fix things
Small mistakes — a typo, a broken link, a wrong date — we just correct them quietly.
Bigger mistakes that could have misled readers — wrong eligibility info, wrong document list, wrong payment amount — we fix the article and add a short note at the bottom saying what was corrected and when. We don’t hide our mistakes or pretend they never happened.
If something was completely wrong and the whole post needs rewriting, we update it fully and mention the update date at the top.
Why we do this
A lot of women read our articles before applying for this scheme. If we get something wrong, somebody might fill a form incorrectly or miss a deadline. That matters to us. We’d rather be corrected by a reader today than mislead someone tomorrow.
Thanks for keeping us honest.
